How do we do it?
Puradyn replacement filter elements contain cotton media treated with an advanced process for chemical grafting (CGP®) designed to remove solid contaminants to less than one micron by chemically attracting and bonding them to the filter media.
This advanced filtration method was developed and patented by Puradyn Research & Development as an effective way to remove the higher volumes and smaller particles of soot being generated by newer engines.
These particles are too small to be adequately removed by traditional filtration media or centrifuge devices.
Independent test results from testing was conducted by a leading independent engine oil research laboratory to further demonstrate the puraDYN System’s ability to remove solid contaminant smaller than one micron.
Note: The Puradyn CGP® filter element was not used during the comparison test. An additional test of a CGP-treated Puradyn filter element showed 100% efficiency after 200 hours.
In addition, the U.S. Department of Energy used the puraDYN System for full duration of a test 2002-2006 to evaluate the performance, benefits, and savings analysis of bypass oil filtration technology. Final results of the study indicated an 80% avoidance of oil changes using bypass oil filtration and can be found here: INL Final Test Results.
