Specifically formulated to maintain the oil’s total base number
(TBN), this patented process thoroughly blends oil additives with a low
molecular weight polymer. The polymer, incorporated into the filter element,
simply holds the additives until they are released.
The porous polymer is designed to
expand and contract as the oil’s
temperature rises, allowing additives to migrate to the surface where
they are released into the oil.
