Operating Conditions:

Extremely Harsh
Excessive Load
Exposed to severe temperature changes and all forms of contamination.

Primary Contaminants:

Water
Soot
Sulfur
Water
Fuel
As you know, sulfur mixed with water creates sulfuric acid which is highly corrosive.

Did you know?
Military vehicles equipped with puraDYN systems can maintain clean oil even during war time by simply changing the puraDYN filters according to the maintenance guidelines.

Case Study:

Vulcan Chemicals performed in 1998 an engine teardown on a truck fitted with a puraDYN bypass system that had run over 616,000 miles without an oil change.

Military equipment operates in some of the most severe environments. A responsive and sustainable fleet requires peak engine performance in a variety of environments.

What if you could keep your oil clean instead of changing it?

Under demanding conditions, oil becomes so contaminated with solid, liquid and harmful gaseous contaminants, as well as depleting its base additive package, that it loses its ability to lubricate, cool and seal moving components.  While oil change intervals become critical to maintaining engine performance, oil change logistics require frequent and time-consuming fleet downtime.

The puraDYN System addresses these issues by keeping lubricating oil free of contaminants and replenishing the base additives during use and allowing the engine to maintain peak performance through extended intervals.  Extended intervals facilitate successful missions by reducing fleet downtime and maintaining fleet availability.

Benefits for Military Operations

Continuous engine oil refinement on the run
Extended Mean Time between Maintenance
Increased Vehicle Uptime

     — Increased combat-readiness

     — Resources can be allocated to more critical objectives
Field maintenance minimized with respect to lubrication system failures
No oil maintenance procedure is required during extended             expeditionary missions
Easily meets current Modularity Force Structure maintenance demands
Easily disposed-of reduced waste oil products, meeting Army waste           disposal regulations
No AOAP required during tactical operations
Reduced oil handling logistical problems in and out of combat theater

No special tools required for service

Available through GSA - Contract #GS-30F-0007R

The Department of Defense has a number of initiatives and directives to reduce waste oil and associated costs. The puraDYN system helps achieve the goals of these programs.

The puraDYN system was selected by the U.S. Department of Energy FreedomCAR & Vehicle Technologies for performance evaluation of Oil Bypass Filter Technology.  The systems were tested at the Idaho National Environmental and Engineering Laboratory (INEEL) and results of the testing showed an 89% avoidance of oil changes through use of bypass filtration technology.http://avt.inel.gov/obp.html

Don’t forget! puraDYN systems work just as well on hydraulic systems.
